Wood for stripes, union, and back board are cut, stained, assembled, and burned twice before and after the stain to create a more dynamic look. Wood burn was concentrated around the edges and union seam to create an impression of a battle-worn flag. All white and red stripes are custom cut to create even edges and clean lines.
ASSEMBLY
Clear coating has been applied to front and back to protect your artwork and maximize the life and beauty of this patriotic decor. New clear protective coating also leaves a thicker, smoother finish and a slightly richer color.
The edges of the backboard are painted black to hide the backboard and maintain a floating illusion.
Star is assembled for lasting durability with high quality wood glue, brad nails, and screws. Star also comes ready to hang.
